A cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School in 1998, she scored 179 on her LSAT and went on to both commercial litigation and constitutional law with the prestigious firms Piper Marbury Rudnick and Wolfe in Chicago and Muchin Rosenman in New York City. Among her many accomplishments, she authored an amicus curiae brief that represented more than 12 major civil rights organizations to the Supreme Court of the United States, described as "excellent" in a NY Times editorial.
Teachers like this do not come along often. Gilly has left the law to pursue full-time teaching and tutoring. She not only has a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law, she has a Master's in Education and is a practicing teacher with the New York City Teaching Fellows Program. She not only knows the LSAT, she knows how to teach.
Her approach is unique for each student, and is based on a comprehensive diagnostic exam in each of the LSAT core areas: logical reasoning, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension. Unlike other teachers who purely teach test-taking strategy, she has the teaching experience to understand the fundamental skills needed to reach excellence in each area.
We believe that by partnering with Gilly Nadel, Central Park Tutors is offering the finest LSAT tutoring in New York City, if not the country. Most students require between 20 and 40 hours of tutoring; however all tutoring is designed to place students in the top percentile of test-takers and we highly suggest allowing yourself ample time for whatever tutoring is needed and for continued exercises once LSAT tutoring is complete.
